Types of Negligence

In a personal injury case, it is often vital to establish liability for the incident that caused the injury. Doing so usually requires proving negligence, which can be difficult to understand. Each state has different negligence laws but the most familiar types of negligence are as follows: Comparative Negligence, Contributory Negligence, Combination of Comparative and Contributory Negligence, Gross Negligence, and Vicarious Negligence.
